gosh, you have no idea how psyched i am to finally be able to see them in something RECENT. i didn't even know kenji cut his hair and changed his hairstyle. plus, i haven't seen them for so long, even teeda's tattoos look different. god, i miss them!

and i don't even know what they're saying since he's speaking in both japanese and mandarin. actually i do know what they're saying. kinda. well, their fanpage says that in this video they're promoting their gig in taiwan for 2010. gosh i sooooooo envy taiwan fans who'll get to see them LIVE after a whole year of being gone!

i know what you're thinking. "is that all?" well, maybe YOU don't think this is anything to flip out over, but to me it is. it's practically the coolest thing i've heard all year. even my kpop obsessions don't beat this tiny bit of news.

THEY'RE RELEASING A NEW SINGLE!!

it's gonna come out on 27th January. but that's like a month away!!! waaa~ well, i've waited this long. what's another month of waiting gonna hurt.

anyway, the single will feature two brand new tracks. one of which has been previewed in a pet documentary film as background music. i posted abt this earlier if you can remember.

it's called 'Tomorrow Never Knows' and the other song is 'One Step! featuring mini' which hasn't been previewed as far as i know of. 

OMG!! finally getting something NEW from them! 

GYAAAAHH!!! so damn excited!!!!! i can't wait for it to come out!!!

Hankyung files a lawsuit against SME.

OMG... i really have no idea what's happening in kpop lately. everything is just one bad news after another. especially for my SUJU oppas!

SUJU and ELFs, we've been in a string of mishaps for years now. first it was the accident in which kyuhyun, heechul and teukie got hurt. then it was the whole "ONLY13" fiasco, then, kibum went MIA, after that the slew of kangin related problems came and now we have to deal with this bomb of an ordeal.

do you know? you wanna know what's happening? Hannie oppa from my beloved SUJU, has filed a lawsuit against SM to terminate his contract. in normal ppl language, that means he's leaving SUJU!!!


i dunno now. i just dunno what to think.
ARGH!!!

i just have to say this, though. no matter what, i'll support whatever Hankyung decides. he's going through hell with the way SM is treating him. he has the right to do this. SM is treating him like their personal slavedog and squeezing the life outta him. it's not right. whatever he's demanding from SM, i hope he gets it. cuz god knows he deserves it. he's been in SM for almost a decade now and he's not seeing the fruits of his labour. that's the kinda bullshit you get for working with SM.

i just hope he doesn't decide to leave SUJU. after all these years, he simply can't! will he? i'm torn. i want him to be happy, but at the same time if wanting him to be happy means he has to leave SUJU....... ugh! i just don't want it!! it just wouldn't be the same. even now, with kibum missing, he's still considered part of SUJU. and we always hope for his return so that he can complete SUJU once again. what more with Hankyung? and add to that, kangin's practically not there due to his own issues. and heechul has his drama goin on.

nowadays, SUJU's stages are always empty. it's awesome for sure, my SUJU oppas are always awesome. but nevertheless, it's empty. i know how ridiculous this sounds considering that even with four members missing, SUJU still has a remaining of nine members left. but if you don't follow SUJU, you just don't know the feeling of emptiness it brings.

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE LAWSUIT;

1. he has been used, abused and exploited by SM and their greedy paws of evil.
2. he has moderate (close to critical) health problems from overworking, exhaustion and absolute lack of rest.
3. he has unmeasurable amounts of unfair clauses in his contract.
4. the terms in his contract are stated below;
   

CONTRACT WAS SIGNED UNDER UNFAIR CIRCUMSTANCES

• he signed his contract when he was 18 yrs old. he knew NOTHING abt how the kpop industry works so SM took advantage of that.
• there's also the problem of language barrier.
• also when he signed the contracts, only terms that were in favor of SM were included in the contract. hankyung was never given the opportunity to suggest terms that would also benefit him.

NOT ALLOWED TO REST

• his requests for breaks have been constantly denied by SM. and because his contract forbids him from taking breaks without permission, he has no choice but to follow the schedules even when he's sick and exhausted.
• he would have to pay a high amount as a fine if he fails to follow his schedule.
• he has no say in the arrangement of his schedule.
  
• he almost has no breaks at all, due to the fact that he is involved with 2 group activities in both Korea and China.*

EXTREMELY LONG CONTRACT PERIOD

• his contract is 13 years long.
• that means hankyung would have to stay with SM until he's 34 yrs old. and if he temporarily left the period of the contract either due to health or studies, the contract would automatically be extended accordingly by SM without notice.
• for example if hankyung wanted to study for 2 yrs and couldn't join promotional activities, then the contract would be extended to 15 yrs. if hankyung was hospitalized and could not continue SUJU activities for 2 yrs, then his contract would be extended. etc.

SALARY PAY IS NOT ENOUGH

• he's the eldest son and he needs to provide for his family, but SM is just not paying him enough for him to be able to do that.
• SUJU will get only 2% from album sales profit but only if the album sales reach 50 000 copies. if not, they get less than that.
• they will only get 10% from digital sales profit but only if the digital sales are equivalent to the total group profit.
• they will get 60% from overseas income only if the profit is equivalent to the total group profit but the 60% is only after SM has deducted all the promotional fees and expenses which include paying for the venues, stages, costumes, food, hotel and transportation bills. after that, the 60% is divided between 13 members.
  
• there are 13 members in SUJU and after dividing equally between the 13, there's just not enough money left to support his personal needs.

RIDICULOUS COPYRIGHT TERMS

• all musical material such as songs, lyrics or music samples created by Hankyung himself cannot be used without SM's permission but instead, SM can use Hankyung's original material without his permission.
• Hankyung cannot claim copyright for his music and everything must be copyrighted under SM's name.
  

* SJM is the most active sub-group of SUJU and therefore, Hankyung has no time in between for breaks because usually after SUJU ends promotional activities, he would then have to immediately join SJM's activities in China. and if SUJU and SJM's activities overlap, he would have to fly back and forth from Korea to China and juggle the heavy schedule.

SuPy aka SUJU-Happy, SUJU-T and SUJU-KRY, all consists of only the main SUJU members and therefore their promotional activities are very far apart and unlike SJM, these other sub-groups will not have any overlapping schedules.

Hankyung is always the busiest member in SJM because of his overwhelming popularity in his homeland China therefore demands of his appearance in music and entertainment shows are high. on this matter, his Chinese fans have all agreed to it and even agrees to the notion that Hankyung should leave SUJU completely and pursue a solo career in China instead.

UGH! i don't want that. China fans can stfu. they're being selfish. even though Hannie is their native oppa, SUJU is his family. you can't simply drag him out of it. there has to be a solution to work around that. at this point, i'll only except Hankyung leaving as a last resort.

also, may i remind you that eventhough only Hankyung's case is publicised, he's probably not the only one being mistreated. you can bet your money that the rest of SMTown's artistes are facing the same things as Hankyung is right this moment. it's even been rumored that 5 other SUJU members have also filed the same lawsuit against SM. they are, teukie, kangin, yesung, eunhyuk and donghae.

and just look at the SHINee boys. more than half the group were hospitalized due to swine flu and yet not a day after recovering, they start performing on stage again. hello! swine flu is nothing simple. it's a very tiring illness. it drains your energy and you get tired really fast. they should've at least gotten a few weeks of rest. but SM made them perform regardless. they're all probably suffering, but they can't do anything abt it.

SM better wake up or ELFs and Cassies and whoever else concerned will personally see to it that the company gets destroyed.

on the flipside, if SM caves, it could be good news for SUJU all the way down to SNSD, SHINee, f(x) and even the new group Nadia.

i'll be waiting.

that's right. he spent last Christmas dozing off (uncomfortably) on a hospital chair, getting saline solution dripped into him cuz he fainted from exhaustion, lack of sleep and overworking. and guess what? he didn't even stay at the hospital to rest. he immediately went back to finish his schedule.
